DONE DEAL | Pacific FC breekt het contract van Gianni Dos Santos open

Done Deal | Na een zeer succesvol seizoen heeft de kampioen van Canada het contract van Gianni Dos Santos opengebroken en de optie voor het jaar 2022 gelicht. De pijlsnelle aanvaller en Pacific FC waren al een tijdje rond met elkaar en brengen het nieuws nu ook formeel naar buiten. Dos Santos is een jeugdexponent van onder meer FC Dordrecht de club waar hij in Nederland de meeste wedstrijden voor speelde. De aanvaller koos vorig jaar voor de Canadese Premier League, daar waar hij ook de optie kreeg om met het tweede van het Bulgaarse FC Ludogorets op het tweede niveau van Bulgarije uit te komen. De 23-jarige Rotterdammer is klaar voor het nieuwe seizoen met FC Pacific en blij om weer herenigd te zijn met zijn teamgenoten. Het seizoen in Noord Amerika loopt tot November, dus je moet wel een aantal maanden actief blijven om dan weer in Februari scherp te zijn. Het was ook wel weer even prettig om met familie en vrienden te zijn. Het is nu weer tijd om te vlammen kan niet wachten tot de wedstrijden weer beginnen, Pacific FC speelt haar eerste wedstrijd van dit seizoen op maandag 11 april tegen Forge FC waarin zij hun titel zullen verdedigen.

After a very successful season, the champion of Canada has renewed the contract of Gianni Dos Santos and lifted the option for the year 2022. The fast attacker and Pacific FC had been around with each other for a while and are now formally bringing the news out. Dos Santos is a former youth academy player of FC Dordrecht. The attacker opted for the Canadian Premier League last year, but also had the option to play with the second team of Bulgarian FC Ludogorets at the 2nd level of Bulgaria. The 23-year-old Rotterdammer is ready for the new season with Pacific FC and happy to be reunited with his teammates. The season in North America runs until November, so you have to stay active for a few months to be sharp again in February. It was also nice to be with family and friends.
