Prestige legt Belgische krachtpatser Henri Stanic (19) vast

De door RSC Anderlecht opgeleide 19-jarige verdediger lijkt, door de samenwerking tussen zijn huidige club OH Leuven en Leicester City, niet meer in de plannen voor te komen van de Belgische club. De jonge Belg met Congolese en Togolese roots is een fijne mix van power, snelheid en souplesse.

Henri Stanic is 1,90m lang. Hij is een moderne opbouwende verdediger met een heerlijke inspeel pass, die comfortabel is om met ruimte in zijn rug te spelen.

Henri Is multifunctioneel en een echt leiderstype. Zo droeg hij de aanvoerdersband in de beloften van OH Leuven en leidde hij de verdediging vanuit meerdere posities.
“Zijn opleiding bij Anderlecht is goed zichtbaar, het is een jongen die altijd de voetballende oplossing zoekt en graag vooruit speelt. Ook een hele serieuze, rustige en volwassen jongen die goed weet wat hij wilt. Dat is ook 1 van de redenen waarom we het traject zijn gestart met Henri om hem komend seizoen in de Nederlandse Keuken Kampioen Divisie te hebben”, aldus spelersbegeleiders en zaakwaarnemers Niels van Osta en Carlos Barros. Hij is een speler met veel potentie. Hij brengt het snelle, intense en krachtige van het Belgische voetbal gepaard met veel voetballend vermogen, dat maakt hem een ideale speler voor de Nederlandse velden.

Stanic is tevens Belgisch jeugdinternational geweest. Zijn ambities daarin zijn onveranderd, hij gaat voor de top. “Ik maak een bewuste keuze te kiezen voor niet alleen een heel goed mamagementbureau met goede persoonlijke begeleiding, maar ook een bureau met sterke contacten en ervaring in Nederland.
Het voetbal wat wordt gespeeld in Nederland brengt mij terug in de tijd bij Anderlecht. Daar speelden we ook veel verzorgd voetbal van achteruit, ik voel me daarin in thuis. Ik kan dan ook niet wachten om in Nederland te spelen.” Aldus de jonge verdediger uit de gemeente Liederkerke, een kleine gemeente tussen Gent en Brussel in Vlaams Brabant waar hij vandaan komt.

NEW SIGNING | Prestige signs powerhouse defender Henri Stanic (19) from Belgium.

The 19-year-old defender who had his formation with RSC Anderlecht has been with OH Leuven for the last 2 years.
The latest developments are that he is most likely going to leave his current club due to the collaboration between his current club OH Leuven and Leicester City.

A multifunctional player and a true leader. He captained the U23’s of OH Leuven and led them from different positions in the defensive back line. “You can see that Henri is formed by Anderlecht. He is a player who’s always looking for the free men. Besides that,serious, calm and a mature player who knows what he wants. This is one of the many reasons that we started the project with Henri. We believe he would suit perfectly into the Dutch Championship. He is a player with lots of potential.

Stanic has been a Belgian youth international already and wants to return back to that level and status again. “I’m confident I have made a well thought decision by signing with an agency who not only provides great personal guidance but also has good connections and a lot of experience in the Dutch Football market. The way football is played in The Netherlands reminds me of my time at Anderlecht, where we also insisted to play football and build op from the back. This way of playing suits me very well, that’s why I can’t wait to play in The Netherlands.” Some words of the young defender who comes from Liederkerke, a small town between Gent and Brussels in Belgium.
